AFFIRMATIONS
What are AFFIRMATIONS?
How do we create them?
Are they really successful or just hype???
Affirmations as defined by Webster comes from the Latin word "affirmare" which means to make firm. It is to assert a judgement or decree as valid, to testify or declare as truth.
We often hear motivational speakers, coaches, teachers and even now recently, pastors and clergy use this word to help motivate people into making positive statements in an effort to guide them to their goals.
Simply put, an affirmation is a statement, or group of statments, positive in nature, that a person will speak over and over again which will create a positive flow of energy that will guide that individual into the direction of the affirmation. i.e. If your goal is to be financially independent, then your affirmation may be "I AM Financially Independant!" this statement of "truth" will motivate you into the direction of making it actual.
No matter your faith or belief, this has been proven to work for people who actually take it and dedicate themselves to it. Repeating a statement OUT LOUD over and over again will cause you to believe it, and believing it to be true, is half the battle!
My affirimations have been near and dear to my heart and have began to manifest themselves in my life. Although I have achieved some, are working on others, and need a prayer for still others (lol) they have proven to keep me on track towards my goals! And the BEST part of affirmations... you can always change them, expand on them, and keep them fresh and exciting!
My set of affirmations (in green) that I speak into existance DAILY goes like this:
I AM God's Chosen (I choose to use this statement because of my Christian faith)
I Am A GREAT Empowerment Coach (I truly believe this!)
I Help MILLIONS Of People (I'm almost at that million count)
I Lead By Example (I believe in practicing what I preach!)
All Of My Bills Are Paid...IN FULL (still working on the "in full" part)
I Am Financially Independent (Wtih the previous one in full effect, I'm well on my way!)
I Am Physically Fit (Ok, I need a prayer for that one but I'm trying!)
I AM God's Chosen (He chose me to be the best I can be and to be a Blessing to others!)
I Challenge you to start your own set of affirmations TODAY and repeat them daily every chance you get!
And remember...."Be a Blessing To Others And Watch The Blessings Pour Into Your Life!"
Love,
Mrs V
